Master Your Move is a flexible, results-driven series designed to help you master foundational movements—think push-ups, planks, pull-ups, and pacing your mile—with short, science-backed workouts that build strength and confidence in just 8 - 12minutes a day, 3 days a week.
Whether you’re looking to kickstart consistency while traveling, add extra power to your current plan, or just try something new, these challenges meet you where you are—and help you move forward with purpose.

What Are the Master Your Move Challenges?
At its core, this is a summer-long challenge series with one clear mission: help you master the moves that matter most. Each week, you’ll tackle a focused challenge centered on one essential skill:
💪 The Four Challenges:
- Push-Up – Build stronger reps with proper form and joint-friendly scaling.
- Plank – Strengthen your core and total-body control.
- Pull-Up – Work toward your first (or best yet) pull-up, with step-by-step progressions.
- Mile – Improve your mile time and running mechanics with smart interval work.
Each challenge runs for six weeks with quick 8-minute sessions, 3 days a week. You’ll build strength, improve movement quality, and leave each week feeling more capable.
How the Weekly Structure Works
Every challenge follows a Monday-Wednesday-Friday cadence, but you can move sessions around to suit your schedule.
- Session 1: Sets the tone with focused work to kick off the week
- Session 2 (Optional): A lower-intensity or recovery-based session—perfect if you're short on time or need extra recovery
- Session 3: A final push to consolidate gains and build momentum
Session 2 will be labeled “Optional” in your app—feel free to skip it if your body or week calls for it. You know your schedule best!
How to Use the Sessions
These challenges were built to be flexible and effective—not overwhelming.
- Use them to stack: Add to your main Moves workout before or after
- Use them to focus: Do them before your main workout if mastering this skill is your top priority
- Use them solo: On a busy day, let one of these short sessions be your workout
These sessions were designed with intention. You’ll increase volume and frequency in the specific movement you’re working on—but only for a short, focused window. That’s why this is a 6-week summer challenge: Get in, get out, and level up.
Pro Tip: If your main goal right now is improving your stats in a Master Your Move skill, make that session the first thing you train on those days! Fresh muscles = better form = faster progress.
