When we say Moves is “science-backed,” we mean it. Behind every workout, recipe, warm-up, and resource in the app is a team of experts who live and breathe this work. They’re coaches, clinicians, athletes, parents, home cooks, and educators who care deeply about helping women train smarter, stay consistent, and feel confident in their bodies.
These are the minds behind the programs you follow, the meals you cook, and the support you lean on — a team dedicated to making sure everything inside Moves is trustworthy, evidence-based, and designed to help you actually feel good. Let’s meet them!

MADELINE CUSTER
As a former college athlete, Physical Education teacher, soccer coach, and marathoner, Madeline understands the power of community and appreciates movement in all forms. She discovered that for many, the missing link in effective training is aligning specific goals with science-backed methods while maintaining an environment that sustains consistency and enjoyment. Applying her knowledge and love of exercise physiology, exercise nutrition, and sport psychology, Madeline set out to develop safe, effective, and accessible workout programs that would do just that - and in turn, help thousands of men and women to reach their full potential. Madeline holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and is a certified personal trainer, including pre and postnatal training.

BRANDON MOSS
Dr. Brandon Moss, PT is a key contributor to all Moves programs. He uses his expertise and love for athletics to help shape science-backed programming that is safe and effective. As a part of each Moves subscription, Brandon also provides guided warm-ups, safe modifications, and advanced resources around foundational movements, proper form, and injury prevention. Brandon received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2012. He obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2015. Brandon is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

COURTNEY RUSHING
Courtney is a nutritionist with a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition. For the last 6 years, she has run a macro and coaching business to help both men and women feel empowered through healthy, sustainable habits. She doesn’t believe in depriving yourself, eliminating food groups, or practicing restrictive diets will ever be the way to reach your goals. Rather, she believes in the importance of education, sustainability and balance with food and movement you enjoy.

HEATHER PAVLIK
Heather is a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience in the food tech world, where she’s helped build nutrition products for platforms like DoorDash and Caviar. A former athlete and passionate home cook (and new mom!) she’s also been part of the Moves community for 6 years. Heather believes nutrition should feel approachable and balanced—yes, there’s room for both kale and ice cream. Her philosophy is that the biggest hurdle in nutrition isn’t knowing what to do, but having the right tools and support to make it happen.
